Hyderabad and Secunderabad are twin cities separated by Hussain Sagar a manmade lake in 1562 during the rule of Ibrahim Qutb Shah. Andhra Pradesh State Assembly Building located in Hyderabad was built in 1913; the citizen of princely state of Hyderabad raised money to build it to mark the 40th birthday of Nizam Mahboob Ali Khan. It was originally the Hyderabad Town Hall.
